The newest addition to our family: the Bumbo! Piper has been such an involved baby - meaning that she wants to see EVERYTHING that is going on. This little invention is going to allow just that. Emily has been wanting to get one of these for a while and we finally got one today and Piper automatically took to it (for the record - so did Sophia...unfortunately). The Bumbo is made out of a soft "low-density foam material" - so it feels really soft against Piper's skin...

edit 6/24/08- Piper LOVE the Bumbo Seat - I would highly recommend it for any parent. We found ours at Once Upon a Child - a baby consignment store for 20 bucks. Great buy.

We started this thing out saying that it was for us - so we should make note that night-time is not going too smooth with baby girl just yet. She is still waking up 2 times a night to eat and often staying awake for an hour or so...fun times. We know from past experience that it will soon fade, but can't remember for the life of us when it happened with Sophia.

By the way - anybody checked out Google Maps recently? Let's just say, I was disturbed to see that the Google Street view truck visited our neighborhood. It was really amusing when it was Miami and NYC - but now that thing has come around my house - I have stopped laughing. IT is just dang creepy that they have invaded my territory. I know this is rather ironic for a guy that post a lot of personal information/pictures on the world wide web - but allow me to have some contradictions...it makes life fun.
